The movie industry still in the economic doldrums and number of movie deals being picked up continues to be slow.This is following the same patten as the literary industry,very few publishers taking any risks,so few good stories around. The good news is that the idependants seem to be moving forward. The most recent buzz over a new Author s two book deal ( John Coventry/Benbella Books) is that you don't often get an ex intelligence officer spilling the beans in a James bond style.! Movie Companies seem at least keen to get their hands on this. But I think we have a long way to go to get back to the bullish past years of Hollywood.
